This collar is made of polypropylene, a material similar to nylon but slightly thinner and more lightweight, yet very strong. It has a slightly rougher texture than nylon. nickel-plated hardware and a contoured plastic buckle. The collar can also be made as a martingale or martingale with buckle. The 1.5" and 2" width collars are intended for large dogs (over 50 lbs) or dogs with long necks and narrow heads like Whippets and Greyhounds.
